Join a friendly local guide, clamber up the wrought-iron structure, and hear the story of how the tower was once reviled as an eyesore on the city's skyline. Look down from the airy heights of the world-famous tower, and enjoy the pretty lights and landmarks of Paris.

  • The meeting point is NOT at the Eiffel Tower
  • Until the end of 2024, your meeting point will be at Place de Sydney 75015 Paris, at the corner of Avenue de Suffren and Rue Jean Rey.
  • A City Wonders representative will be holding a sign at the meeting point
  • After the visit you can take the stairs or elevator down to the ground floor
  • You have to arrive at the meet-up location at least 15 minutes before departure
  • From 2025, the meeting point is located on the steps at the end of the Iena Bridge closest to the Eiffel Tower. At the bridge, facing the Eiffel Tower from the Seine River, on the right side there is a carrousel and stone steps leading down to the river

The activity involves an extensive amount of walking and climbing stairs.

For operating reasons in addition to weather, the summit may not be accessible. When this occurs, the group will be unable to access the summit. In this event, you will be refunded the price of the summit access within 5–10 days. The refund will be processed automatically, so there is no need to contact us.

We will do everything within our control to ensure timings and itineraries are respected. Due to the popularity of the Eiffel Tower, we experience delays from security, or ticket desk lines while purchasing your entrance tickets.

In peak months (April – October), school holidays and on weekends, please expect a minimum wait time of 30mn at the first security check and 45 mins at the ticket desk line.

In low season (November – March outside school holidays & weekends), expect a minimum wait time of 15 min at the first security check and 30mn at the ticket desk line.
